Hello, I’m trying to change the search bar placeholder text. I found the product-searchform.php file which I copied to my Shopisle child theme directory to override it. Changed only the ‘Search Products…’ placeholder text and that had not effect.
So I tried to translate the text using Say What? plugin and I correctly identified the original string as ‘Search Products…’, the context as ‘placeholder’ and the text domain which is the woocommerce plugin. This also had no effect and did not change the text.
I’ll appreciate help with this please, as it seems the theme is overriding the default woocommerce control of the search bar placeholder. Thank you.
